Lighthouse Youth Foundation creates pathways for young people in the Shreveport-Bossier area to discover their purpose through sports, the performing arts, and community.
Who We Are
"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:14–16
Helping kids realize and shine their God-given potential — through sports, the performing arts, and intentional community investment in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
"No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose."
Matthew 5:15–17 · New Living Translation (NLT)What We Do
Young artists deserve the same encouragement given to athletes. Through music, singing, theater, dance, and creative expression, we nurture the God-given gifts inside every young person — building confidence, discipline, leadership, and hope.
